The start of something really very exciting....
...well, you'd hope so, wouldn't you?
But let's see what happened today:
I have just finished my dinner. Meatballs and peas. And bread. Zumo de frutas y pan. And a yoghurt. Very Spanish.
I thought it might be quite nice to keep a blog of the days events. This could be the closing chapter of my time in Spain, so I thought I should record it. It seemed appropriate, I haven't recorded any other part of the year in the way, but what the hell. You've gotta start somewhere.
Just watched the Ben Aflick flick "Paycheck" on recommendation from Jim. I must speak to the lad about that. After the film, I thought to myself (for I am by myself in the flat) that if his memory had been erased, when he returned to the machine, how did he know how to use it?
I went for a walk earlier today to catch a bit of the Spanish sun. Twas very hot. Whilst out, I bumped into Jodie. That pleased me for it's always nice to bump into somebody that you know in the street. It makes you feel like you belong in that place. What else makes you feel like you belong? ...I can't answer that question now.
Is that really the sum total of my day? Let's see what tomorrow brings. I am teaching for four hours in the morning. The poor student is on a hard-core 9 - 6 Mon to Fri intensive. Hard core, you know the score. She certainly will by the end of the week!
Ya esta.
Adamo.
